Grand Annual

Building a home for all to live in faith.

Our special Parish faces the usual costs of any small business plus the maintenance of very old and beautiful buildings. From the annual Parish Finance Council report published recently in our Bulletin, parishioners know that our income does not usually meet our expenses.

Each year at this time, Fr. Ronan writes to parishioners to explain our finances and ask for assistance to close our operating deficit with a contribution to the Grand Annual Collection. Your response over the years has always been generous and helps to meet our needs. Once again, we ask every family to do your best to respond.

For those who have the means, the Parish is asking for a donation of $650. And for those who can do more, please do so as there are surely those whose gift will be a sacrifice at a lesser level. We believe these combined amounts will yield a balanced budget.

There are many ways for you to make contributions!

  • A Paypal button is now featured below and on the main page of stmarystcatherine.org.
  • Grand Annual envelopes included in last week’s mailing are also available in the Church or Parish Center.
  • Did you know you can donate through your online banking portal? You can list St. Mary-St. Catherine of Siena Parish as a payee with our address (46 Winthrop Street, Charlestown MA  02129) and phone number (617-242-4664).

Did you miss the Finance Report in our October 25 Bulletin? Get a copy at here. For inquiries about the Grand Annual, please contact James Santosuosso, Business Manager, at jsantosuosso@stmarystcatherine.org or (617) 242-4664. For all of your support and active participation in our Parish community, we are humbled and deeply grateful!
