Confirmation Schedule 2011-2012

All classes are once a month on Monday evenings in the Parish Center from 6:15 to 8 p.m. Eight classes total. All classes except September 19th are on the 4th Monday of the month.

REQUIRED SPECIAL EVENTS:
Sunday, September 25, 2011: Outward Bound Teambuilding Day on Thompson Island in the Boston Harbor
- Meet at the Parish Center at 8:15 am to travel to South Boston Industrial Park for ferry to Thompson Island.
- Return to Charlestown 5:00
Sunday, December 4, 2011, Community Service at Long Island Shelter *
- Meet at Parish Center on Winthrop Street at 4 p.m. Return by 9 p.m.
Saturday, Retreat, Date in February to be determined
- Meet Parish Center at 9 a.m. to travel to St. Pat’s in Stoneham for the retreat
- Return to Charlestown to attend 4 p.m. Mass at St. Mary’s
- Parents are invited to attend 4 p.m. Mass with the students
Sunday, March 4, 2012, Community Service at Long Island *
- Meet at Parish Center at 4 p.m. Return by 9 p.m.

Saturday, April 28th, 2012: 12 Noon, Confirmation Rehearsal at St. Francis De Sales Church
Sunday, April 29th, 2012: 11 a.m. Mass, Confirmation Mass at St. Francis De Sales Church
*Dates to be confirmed. Students are required to attend the Shelter event at least once but are welcome to attend on both dates. Students will receive 5 hours of community service credit for each date they serve.
